1. Prepaid Phone Internet

i. What is a prepaid phone internet?

Myanmar Net Account Cards which you can access the internet after buying and also including Ahwathone Packs and Data Packs which can be bought by topping up your Myanmar Net Account.

1. (A) Ahwathone Packs & Data Packs

i. What are Ahwathone Packs?

Myanmar Net Internet Packs for using unlimited data within a defined period with different speeds.

ii. What are Data Packs?

Myanmar Net Internet Packs for using defined data amounts within 30 Days.

iii. What are the speeds of Ahwathone Packs and Data Packs?

Data Packs can be used with constant 10 Mbps and AWT Packs can be used starting from 1.2 Mbps to 12 Mbps.

iv. Another pack can be bought after buying 1 Pack?

AWT Packs can be bought up to 3 and Data Packs can be bought up to 4.

v. What are the results for buying 2 or more Packs?

For buying 2 or more Packs, Speeds will be combined for AWT Packs and Data Amounts will be combined for Data Packs. For buying both AWT and Data Packs, Data Pack will be used first always. If Data Pack is used up, AWT Pack will be used if still in valid period.

vi. For buying AWT and Data Packs?

AWT and Data Packs can be bought as Scratch Cards (or) Pack Transfer at Myanmar Net Stores, and Resellers. Packs can be also bought at Myanmar Net Application after topping up your Myanmar Net account.

1. (B) Prepaid CPE and Mini

i. What are Prepaid CPE and Mini?

CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) and Mini are the equipment renting to the Myanmar Net prepaid users for better connectivity at home and Myanmar Net coverage areas.

ii. What are the benefits of using CPE and Mini?

Myanmar Net connectivity is good even without using CPE and Mini. But using it will expand the coverage for the whole home with better connectivity. 

iii. How to pay for the Prepaid CPE and Mini?

Top-up Myanmar Net Account and Rental Fees will be deducted automatically from the account.

iv. What happens, if Myanmar Net account does not have enough balance for the charges of Prepaid CPE and Mini?

If Myanmar Net Account did not have enough balance for the CPE and Mini rental fees, CPE and Mini will be shut-down after one month.

v. How to rent Prepaid CPE and Mini?

1. (C) Myanmar Net Account Cards and Top-up Cards

i. What are Myanmar Net Account Cards?

Scratch cards for using the Internet which includes Myanmar Net Account Number and Password and also those Accounts can be used again by topping up.

ii. How many devices can be connected with an account card?

Each account card can be used by one device.

iii. Places to buy Myanmar Net Account Cards and Top-up Cards?

Myanmar Net scratch cards can be bought at Myanmar Net Stores, Resellers, and Nearby Convenience Stores.

iv. How to check Account usages?

Account usages can be checked at Myanmar Net application (or) www.myanmarnet.com after connecting to Myanmar Net Wi-Fi.

v. What is Auto Buy?

Automatically buying the chosen pack after current internet pack is used-up for the convenience of Customers.

vi. How to stop Auto Buy?

When buying for the pack, uncheck the Auto Buy at the bottom of the appeared message.

vii. How to look for a MAC Address?

MAC Address (or) Wi-Fi Address can be looked at “Setting>About Device”. (eg. 77:33:C2:09:55:3A)

viii. What to do after forgetting the Account password?

2. Myanmar Net Account Cards and Top-up Cards

i. What is Myanmar Net Ah Wa Thone Internet?

Monthly Internet Plan for the whole family with unlimited access.

ii. What is the most affordable plan?

To provide affordable internet access for everyone, Ah Wa Thone plans are started from as low as 8,500 Ks per month.

iii. What is the connectivity status of 8,500 Ks plan?

To provide better connectivity and full bandwidth, CPE is installed for not only 8,500 Ks plan but also for all Myanmar Net plans.

iv. What is CPE?

CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) is the equipment installed at the place of the Myanmar Net Ah Wa Thone users for better connectivity with full coverage at home and can be connected up to 200 devices.

v. What kinds of services are provided to the Ah Wa Thone Subscribers?

Ah Wa Thone users are provided with OTG Account Cards, Door to Door Bill Collection services and free access to Myanmar Cast Internet TV subscription service.

vi. what is OTG Account Card?

OTG (On the Go) Account card,  Ah Wa Thone subscribers can access the internet everywhere in Myanmar Net coverage areas.

vii. Payment method for monthly fees

Aside from Door to door Bill Collection service, monthly fees can be paid at Myanmar Net Stores and Resellers, branches of AYA, CB and KBZ Banks, and their Mobile Banking Apps.

3. TVie

i. What is TVie?

TVie is a unique combination of Internet Gateway and traditional Set-top Box. So, you will get access to the internet and varieties of movies, series, entertainment programs of Myanmar Cast and CANAL+. You can even sing songs with Microphone plugging at TVie.

ii. No icons displaying at the home page?

The TV OS does not have internet access. It takes up to 3 minutes for TV OS to be able to acquire internet access. Press the remote’s home button to refresh the internet status. If the problem still persists, please contact the network engineer.

iii. Using an external Hard Disc.

Please plug in external Hard Disc before powering up the device. Plug in after power on will cause the device to reboot. After power restart, the device will be recognized by the device.

iv. Using USB ports.

There are two USB ports and they will support only 0.7A each. Over draining current may damage the board or the port will be suspended. If the port is suspended, please reboot the device.

v. Analog Sound output volume doubled after unplugging the HDMI cable.

Unplugging the HDMI cable will double the analog sound signal line (earphone jack). This is normal since the sound signal is shared between HDMI and Analog.

vi. Loud pitching noise.

Both “On Board MIC” and “On Board Speaker” are turned on. While using an on board speaker for sound output, please use external MIC. Turning on both “On Board MIC” and “On Board Speaker” will cause an echo loop. If this happens, please reboot the device.

vii. MIC enable and on-board speaker enable reset after reboot.

After reboot the MIC and speaker conditions will be reset to default settings. Please set the desired conditions in the setting after reboot.

viii. Using USB external MIC.

Enable MIC function first before plugging USB external MIC. It will take about 30 seconds for the USB external MIC to be recognized by the device.

ix. No internet after sleep.

Idling over a long period will cause the TVie to go into sleep mode. Idling for more than 6 hours will cause the network adapters to be disabled. Please use the restart feature in the setting menu or reboot the device.

x. YouTube cannot login.

Google service is not available yet.

3. How to access Myanmar Cast App?

You can access the Myanmar Cast App with Username ၊ Password of Myanmar Cast’s 30 Days Scratch Card and also with Myanmar Net Account.

4. Where can I buy Myanmar Cast’s 30 Days Scratch Card?

My CANAL+ is the mobile application to watch the Pay TV Channels of CANAL+ MYANMAR FG and Free to Air Channels.

2. What programs can be watched at MyCanal?

Variety of programs as Movies, Series, Music, News, lifestyle, health and various Entertainment Shows, which are broadcasting at TV Channels can be watched directly or within two weeks.

3. How can I watch MyCanal?

MyCanal can be watched by buying 30 Days AWT Packs of 12,000 Ks and 20,000 Ks. Myanmar Net users subscribed for 20,000 Ks and above AWT Plans can watch MyCanal as a gift.

4. How can I login to the MyCanal App?

After connecting “Myanmar Net” Wi-Fi,  Choose “Myanmar Net Customers” at the log-in page of MyCanal App.

5. Can I get a free trial for MyCanal?

There is nor free trial for MyCanal.

6. Is video can be downloaded at MyCanal App?

Videos from the On Demand section of MyCanal App can be downloaded and watched in the duration of 7 days.

7. How many devices can connect and watch MyCanal?
